Undisturbed Cerulean:

What if the sky always felt so deep,
a wild, undisturbed cerulean,
an ocean of the forgotten,
unsure where to flow next.

What if its salty air whispered your soul's name,
spun the letters like falling sycamore seeds,
each syllable slicing into past waves,
before falling silent beneath their surface.

___After she left, I mistook quiet for peace,
my body would lie still, contemplating,
the way a river pretends to be frozen,
when it is really awaiting the thaw.

But today, stubborn clouds evaporated,
a burning sun pierced its blue canvas,
angelic rays seared all pain from view,
at last I was free, to live, as me.

This poem, inspired by the #vss365 prompt #cerulean, is meant to be experienced fully through the video. I'd love to hear your thoughts on X! ❤️

I also wanted to share a bit about the creation process. While I'm grateful for the time I have with my 95-year-old dad, it does impact my creative flow. I often create on my phone, from the sofa, to stay close to him. My ideal setup would be a big screen, uninterrupted internet, and access to more advanced software. But life isn't always ideal. Despite these limitations, I'm finding joy in creating and connecting with this amazing community. ❤️

This video, like many others, is a product of those constraints. It's not my "perfect" work, but I hope it still inspires you to create in your own authentic way. ✨ We all find ways to make art within the realities of our lives. 🌈
