The Descent to Soulfulness

"In the descent into one's soul, we discover the ascent to true happiness" CJB

I stood like a giant above all men,
Raised by the pain life inflicted.
My heartbeats felt shredded,
A faint hope pushed to escape.

Then I fell, my legs gave way—
My descent was the reward.
Each roll, I laughed aloud,
Screaming to the heavens,
"THANK YOU, GOD!
THANK YOU, EVERYTHING!"

In my dizziness, I felt joy,
A dilution of pain was evident.
Everything I hit, I loved more;
Everything I saw, swirling,
How could I have been so blind?

And then I landed in silence,
A glow of soulfulness sparked.
The trail I left was glowing,
A journey of life's beauty,
A path of happiness.

And then I saw it,
High from where I fell,
My pain, waving, smiling.
I found myself waving, smiling back—
And in that moment, I knew:

Everything is okay,
Everything was okay,
Everything will be okay,
For TODAY,
TODAY,
I live eternally happy.

This poem flowed from my soul like a red-hot knife through butter!

Why was it so easy to write?

Because every word, every line, reflects my journey—my life has transformed into one of happiness through my analysis of Everything.
I'm not about the money, but what I've learned will be in my book. My wish is for everyone to feel this way, especially if you're living a life you currently think isn't the one you wanted.

I won't say more; I'll just refer you back to read the poem again. It's meant to provide you with hope—real, tangible hope—to know that every word is true, and happiness is already with you when you see it each day.
