Old Bench New Year
"Life's truth is found in moments of stillness, where even the dance of a bird can teach us to live fully in the now" CJB
Today, on a park bench, its wooden grain stained by the seasons, you sat with your mind in turmoil, a whirlwind of thoughts.
A wise bird interrupted, landing delicately within reach. It danced, a celebration of the new year, and you were entranced by its magic.
The sun's warmth caressed you as the leaves whispered their applause, you felt as light as air, lighter! Tethered only by the silent bond with the world around you.
A dog's bark broke the spell, the bird obeyed and flew into a cloud of nearby bushes.
In that brief interlude, you glimpsed life's truth: to live is to shed the weight of your thoughts, to flow with the moment around you, and to embrace each new day as if it were the only day you ever had to live.
On that old bench, in this new year, you were reminded how to see through the eyes of your soul.
Enjoy every moment, you are in one right now.
As my blog takes its final form, I'll be focusing my creativity more on the messages my book will explain, and on my coaching goals to help you experience soul happiness through my poetry, songs, or videos.
I hope you enjoyed this. I encourage you, like me, to give Flash Fiction Poetry a try too. I wish you a wonderful 2025 and can't wait to catch up with you in the X chats.
Peace & Love,
CJB
