I Survived
Praise yourself as much as you can...
"BOFFO" they cried,
but I knew they lied.
Took the money,
and with it my pride.
Thirty years working,
giving them my soul.
I gave them good years,
they took them all!
But I survived,
I learnt and I grew.
I now teach things,
they never knew.
Don't judge life,
it is what it is.
As the film industry says,
"That's show biz"!
