The Power of Everything: A Glimpse Within
When you realize the power you have...
In the garden of your mind, doubt whispers like the wind,
Suspicious of the roses, fearing their beauty might rescind.
Thorns prick your fingertips, oozing memories of past pain,
But a fragrance fills the air, promises echoing in the rain.
Why hold so tightly to the shield, mental armor forged in fear?
The rose unfolds its petals, a love story bright and clear.
Let go of what was broken, the battles fought and lost,
This moment holds a sunrise, a chance to pay no cost.
Open your heart anew, let trust become the key,
Unfurl suspicion's banner, embrace the mystery.
For within the rose's velvet, a hidden wonder lies,
A spiritual silver spark, lining the cloudy skies.
Drink deep the fragrant nectar, let go of what you knew,
The soul's power blossoms, bathing in the morning dew.
This world's a tapestry of wonder, woven thread by thread,
Unravel the suspicious knots, let love awake and spread.
For in the garden of your being, where roses softly bloom,
Lies the power of everything, dispelling fear and gloom.
Notes:
This poem is focused on the Power of Everything which is CJB's new spiritual self-help book (not yet published).
