Excogitate

Don't think too much or this life will be gone...

Excogitate

The urge to excogitate, a gnawing ache,
To delve within, a problem to break.
But time's a tyrant, a relentless stream,
Fleeting moments quickly fade to dream.

Deliberation whispers, cautious and slow,
While stagnant thoughts refuse to flow.
Will I succumb to this mental malaise,
Content to vegetate in a mental haze?

No! A fiery spark ignites my soul,
Rising like a phoenix in its dutiful role.
I'll delve within, dissect the mental maze,
Excogitate solutions in a wisdom's blaze.
