Any excuse to do a Scottish accent and mention the Scots, and I am all in. I've always had a deep connection with Scotland, yet I've only been there once when I was a wee bairn. As a kid, I even bought a book (which I still have) on the Scottish clans and chose one I wanted to belong to—the Gunn Clan, whose motto is "Aut Pax Aut Bellum" (Either Peace or War).
I don't remember many things, but weirdly, I can always remember that Latin motto. Anyhow! See how my love of Scotland distracts me so easily. For those who follow me, you'll know that I always create through my soul. It guides me. I have no idea where my creating is taking me, and for whatever reason, it took me to Scotland today. Perhaps it's an excuse to wish all the Scottish readers a "Happy Hogmanay"!
As for the poem, my soul just let it flow. Make of it what you wish. Upon reading it through, I feel it reinforces the idea that to live a happy life today, you just need to be aware and live through your soul, not your human-animal mind. Don't let any negativity ruin your joy right now. There are happy thoughts to be found in every moment, yes, even the most painful ones. It is your choice. You hold that power (hence the powerful, angry Scotsman in the image, showing his passion to get you to listen). I want to inspire you to choose soul happiness, positive actions, today, now.
