Said the British Celtic people...
Long live the Roman empire!!!
Said the British Romans...
Meanwhile, a thistle's stem felt tickled,
by a small bird that fed from its leaves.
Circling above, a falcon spotted a mouse,
As it ran towards an old British house.
Built from straw, the house tenants grew sick,
After the plague the Victorians rebuilt it in brick.
Its oak front door now painted in British blue,
The mouse is gone, and the Romans too...
As the waves, today, brush our British shores,
As a vegan-bone is crunched by a bulldog's jaws,
A natural British harmony still carries on...
Every generation thinks an old Britain has gone!
You see, things in Britain, they come and go,
Culture changes, as you well know.
Healthy integration is definitely the key,
And it starts with peace, and unity.
