Being Idle
Take a moment to be idle...

Is being idle a sin?
Or should it be a goal?
La-La-Di-Da-Da-Daa,
Idleness makes you whole!
Alarm clocks ring, people rush to work,
Do this long enough, it drives you berserk!
A slave to a system that is out of control,
Who runs it anyway? A mystical or political troll?!
Humans could build a utopia,
A world full of wondrous things,
Idle days, watching old movies,
Slurping coffee as Elton sings.
Maybe idleness should be a degree,
To learn how to sit and do nothing,
To run through fields of dreams,
Playing, giggling, loving.
La-La-Di-Da-Da-Daa,
Idleness makes you whole!
Time is our invisible judge,
One that can never be seen,
Maybe it knows the truth,
Idleness helps us dream.
La-La-Di-Da-Da-Daa,
Idleness makes you whole!
"This poem/song was created to release pent up annoyance at THE SYSTEM and to rethink the word IDLE so you can give yourself a break. You should find time in your week to just do absolutely nothing at all and be happy about it"
